Chatham Charge Churches Worship Policy

  • Be Safe: First and foremost, take care of yourself and protect those that are worshipping with you. If you are not feeling well or if you suspect you have been in contact with someone that has Covid 19 please stay home and worship with us online.
  • Protection: Masks are not required but are suggested; masks are provided inside. The Pastor will not be wearing a mask during the service in order that everyone can hear the message. Please sanitize your hands as you come into the sanctuary and as you leave the sanctuary.
  • Social distancing: Maintain safe distance while you are in the church building as well as outside the church. The sanctuary is marked for seating that allows for optimal protection of worshipers. Please abide by these marked areas!
  • Fellowship: The beauty of communal fellowship is enjoying the presence of our Brothers and Sisters but we ask that you greet and interact with each other from a distance. Outside of the church building is a safer place to hold extended conversations with each other while maintaining social distance.
  • Congregational Participation: Communal singing is an important part of Worship and we will be singing but we are reducing singing, responsive readings and scripture readings to minimize the time spent in the church building and potential contamination. Anything that attendees need to read during the service will be shown on the video screen.

Friends, God would like to have us in fellowship with each other, praising and worshiping the Him, the Son and Holy Spirit. But your spiritual health as well as your physical health is important to God, to us and to your Brothers and Sisters. So please respect and adhere to these guidelines to keep everyone safe.

We will continue to offer online worship at ChathamCharge.com every week so if now is not the time for you to feel comfortable in returning into Worship, we encourage you to worship with us online. We look forward to seeing you all back in worship as soon as the Spirit leads you there!
