Chatham UMC has a traditional worship service that is focused on bringing each person into a closer relationship with our Father and His Son Jesus Christ through the working of the Holy Spirit at each and every worship. We read from the scriptures, sing from hymn books and pray to God with praise and supplication and trust the teaching that He has for us.

Chatham is a mature church with brings not only vast Christian maturity but also the Wisdom of the Ages that comes from personal experience with relying on the Holy Spirit to guide and protect through life's ebbs and flows. 

Coming to faith is an act of preceding Grace, the urging to the Spirit to recognize our need to reconcile with our Father through faith in Christ. The Holy Spirit bring us to the decision point and we need only accept Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Spiritual maturity can only happen through our own actions and desire. At Liberty Church we believe that we must be participative in our spiritual growth. The seed of faith has been planted in our heart and soul but each of us is responsible that it receives the water, nutrients and Light that faith needs to grow, bloom and bear great fruit.

We believe the path to Christian maturity is by reading the scriptures, talking to our Father always, listening to for what He is telling us and finally acting for God in service to His Church and His people.

Our journey through life is about walking the narrow path that leads to the narrow gate. Many begin the walk, few enter the Gate. Only through spiritual growth can we enter, Chatham can help you with that journey.

In addition to participating in Sunday worship we also have other opportunities to spend time in fellowship with others in the congregation to learn more about God, like Sunday School and twice weekly Bible Studies where we can read the scriptures together and understand the Truth that God has written in them for our edification and spiritual growth.

We are called by God to love and serve others and the Church gives us the opportunity and ability to join together, to multiply our efforts to become the hands and feet of God.

In addition to the money that is given by the church to meet local, national and worldwide needs through are regular offerings, St Louisville has a number missions in which you can become involved.

Chatham Church has always stayed connected to the Village around us. We have done Family Movie Nights, Outside Worship Services and Kids Club for the local children.

The Blessing Box is also an out reach to the community. Not all people have what they need from time to time and we are pleased to share some of what we have we the people that live around us.

You’ll find everything from casual clothes to shirt with ties and dresses at our worship experiences. Chatham is not about what you look like or what you wear. Dress in what is comfortable for you!
